PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light safety tool having both heat resistance and cold resistance, and excellent in flexibility and workability. SOLUTION: This safety tool is constituted of a complex cloth consisting of a trilayer structure of a surface cloth, a middle layer and a back cloth, further consisting essentially of aramid fiber and satisfying the following conditions: (a) the surface cloth and the back cloth consist of 50-100 wt.% meta- aramid fiber, 0-10 wt.% para-aramid fiber and 0-40 wt.% other flame resistant fiber (with the proviso that the total percentage of the meta-aramid fiber, the para-aramid fiber and the other flame resistant fiber is 100 wt.%); (b) the surface and/or the interior of the surface cloth has a protective layer having both heat resistance and cold resistance formed so as to be 0.1-1.0 mm thickness; and (c) the middle layer is a layered product of plural layers of an aramid felt. |
