PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To test the propriety of plural kinds of ROM codes by an LSI tester. SOLUTION: Totally four test patterns for testing each user program within the four, for example, user programs which are incorporated in a single-chip microcomputer are generated, the test patterns are absorbed into one user program test pattern after that and the absorbed user program test pattern is changed into a test program name so as to be tested. At this time, the four test patterns are divided at every pattern address one by one so as to be successively compared with the fout kinds of user programs, it is judged to be the excellent one when any one of the plural test patterns is matched with and a test is ended (step 11-15). It is judged to be the defective one if the whole test patterns are not matched with the user programs so as to end the test (step 16). |
