<p>4,5-Dihydro-[1H]-benz[g]indazole-3-carboxylic acid derivatives represented by general formula (I) or their salts, which have excellent antagonism to endothelin receptors and are useful as preventives or remedies for hypertension, angina pectoris, myocardial infarct, brain infarction, cerebrovascular contraction, renal insufficiency, liver function disorder, arteriosclerosis, post-PTCA reconstriction, etc., wherein Ar represents optionally substituted aryl; and R1 represents hydrogen, optionally substituted lower alkyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or an optionally substituted heterocycle.</p> |
