PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic assembly of a module board having good assembling property by a method wherein a mother board is electrically coupled to the module board via a face-contact type connector. SOLUTION: After a module board 5 to which a mother board 1 and a connector 7 are attached is fixed to a casing 2 and a cover 14 is attached to the mother board 1, each inner device 3 is attached from a window hole 4, and next a prism, a character plate, a facing, etc., are attached to the casing 2, so that a combination meter is assembled. As described above, as in this combination meter, the mother board 1 is electrically coupled to the module board 5 via a facecontact type connector 7 residing between both boards, assembling can be performed by only a simple operation in which the module board 5 to which the connector 7 is attached is positioned with respect to the mother board 1 and mounted thereto, and automatic assembly which is conventionally difficult becomes possible. |
