<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the voltage of a primary conductor such as wiring even in rainy weather without affecting a high voltage resistance element even if a capacitance on an insulator surface is varied, by arranging a conducting shield, which connects to an earth cable and electrostatically shielding the inner wall of an insulator and the whole high voltage resistance element. SOLUTION: A conducting shield 68 is earthed through an earth terminal 72, coil spring 74 and earth cable 28, and a high voltage resistance element 20 is electrostatically shielded from the surface side of an insulator 16. The shield 16 is set in a pole as an arrester, voltage on a primary conductor side such as a power line applied to the high voltage resistance element 20 is accurately measured independent of weather, and reliability in a transmission and distribution line is enhanced. A head 32 of a top electrode 34 connected to a line side lead wire 14 with a joint shaft 42 and the top of the conducting shield 68 are separated up and down at the specified intervals. Short circuit between the top electrode 34 and the top of the conducting shield 68 is prevented, and burning of the conducting shield 68 is prevented.</p> |
