The rotation of the drive motor is converted into the oscillation of the implement-holder (8), inside the operating head (3). The longitudinal axis (51) of the implement-holder is angled, preferably at a right-angle, in relation to the longitudinal axis (53) of the neck part of the handpiece next to the operating head. The oscillation plane of the implement-holder is at right-angles to the longitudinal axis of the holder. The neck part is angled to the grip part of the handpiece. The implement is fixed to the holder by a chuck (10) which has a press-button (11) for inserting and removing the implement.
