A keyboard (12) with a cursor control device (50) and a palm support (30) supports the palm while allowing the fingers to be placed in the typing position. The palm support (30) is connected to the cursor control device (50) which allows the user to maintain the fingers in the typing position while controlling the position of the cursor on the display screen with palm movements.
