PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding structure, in which the formation of a thermally affected part by laser beam is stabilized by mounting a material having high laser absorptivity on an emitting part of laser beam, when a body to be welded is put on a welding body to weld the both together by laser beam. SOLUTION: A body to be welded 17a' is put on a welding body 17' (for example, each consists of a copper plate with a thickness of about 0.6 mm), and a stainless foil 19a having a high laser absorptivity (laser absorptivity of about 37%) is mounted on the emitting part 17d of laser beam LB of the body to be welded 17'a. When laser beam LB is emitted to the stainless foil 19a, the form of a thermally affected part 17e (where the grain size of the metal tissue is roughened) by fusing and welding by laser beam LB is stabilized, since the stainless foil 19a has high laser absorptivity. Thus, jointing characteristic such as bonding strength can be improved, and a laser welding structure optimal for a bus bar housed in an electrical joint box can be provided. |
