A wrap-around carrier for packaging tub-shaped articles. The carrier bottom is formed from an inner flap (26) and an outer flap (28). Article retainer flaps (34) are hinged to the inner flap. Locking tabs (52) are hinged to the outer flap. The retainer flaps, including tabs (76) thereon, contact the bottom portions of adjacent articles. A projection (92) on the locking tabs extends through an opening (82) in the retainer flaps and the end edge (93) of the locking tab supports the retainer flap. To prevent withdrawal of the locking tab, a further opening (80) in the retainer flap receives a locking tab shoulder (94), and a slit (90) in the inner bottom panel flap receives another locking tab shoulder (96). In addition, stepped dividers (24) on opposite sides of the articles prevent movement of the articles during carrier formation.
