PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent compsn. which contains a surfactant having high detergency and foaming power and hardly irritating the skin by incorporating at least one amidosulfuric ester surfactant into the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains at least one amidosulfuric ester surfactant of formula I [wherein the acyl group: R<1> CO is a 6-24C, ref. an 8-22C, linear or branched satd. or unsatd. fatty acid residue (e.g. a residue derived from octanoic, decanoic, dodecanoic, or tetradecanoic acid); R<2> is H, a 1-3C alkyl, A<1> -OH, or A<1> -OSO3 M, pref. H, a 1-3C alkyl, or a 2-3C hydroxyalkyl; A<1> is a 1-6C alkylene, pref. a 2-3C alkylene; and M is H, an alkali or an alkaline earth metal, etc.]. The compn. may further contain an alkanolamide surfactant of formula II [wherein R<1> is the same as in formula I; R<3> is a 1-3C alkyl or (A<2> -O)y H; A<2> is a 2-4C alkylene; (x) is 1-15C; and (y) is 0-15 provided x+y is 1-20]. |
