PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a blood stream from being obstructed by a kink or the like, have resistance for expansion and bending, have good fitting to the shape of a blood vessel, and prevent blood from leadking from a connecting part by forming a blood vessel out of a tube made of plain-woven thermoplastic resin fiber, the wall thickness of which is within a specified range. SOLUTION: Thermoplastic resin fiber, the wall thickness of which is above 50 μm below 95 μm, preferably about 52 μm-about 90 μm, and especially preferably about 55 μm-about 85 μm, is plain-woven to form a tube, and an artificial blood vessel for a stent is constructed by the tube. When the wall thickness is smaller than the above, meshes are shifted, which depends on the shape and diameter of a tubular structure by an elastic wire material for forming a stent, and when it exceeds the above, complete transcutaneous intravascular operation becomes difficult to be conducted. It is preferable that the tube has a sheath diameter of 19 Fr or less, especially about 15 Fr or less. A stent is provided on the outer surface or the inner surface of a part of the tube that is not subjected to crimping, whereby kink and constriction can be effectively prevented. |
