Conical boring process for hemispherical heavy metal workpiece
摘要
The conical boring process is for producing conical borings (1) with a minimum diameter of 0.25 to 3 mm and length 100 mm to 400 mm in a hemispherical heavy metal workpiece (2). The center lines of the borings intersect at the center point of the base surface (6) of the workpiece. A start hole drilling machine is initially used to create a hole by countersink erosion. The conical form of the boring is finished by the use of a wire erosion machine (4).
