PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good flashing against rain water by superimposing attaching pieces for the frame on verge flashing and cotightening with machine screws or bolts to roof backing and by covering exposed portions of machine screws and the like with a roofing material attached astriding the frame and verge flashing. SOLUTION: A verge flashing 71 comprising an attaching piece 72 to be fixed to a roof board 17, a vertical piece 73 raised upright, a reversed Lshaped outer edge piece 76 linked to a verge iron sheet 75, and a verge flashing 71 comprising a horizontal piece 77 are formed in one united body. And an attaching piece 78 for the frame 20 is placed on an attaching piece 72 of the verge flashing 71, the roof board 17 and purlin 15 are cotightened with machine screws 79, and an end of waterproof steel plate 21 for verge is fixed to a vertical piece 73 with machine screws 80. Next, the heads of the machine screw 79 of the frame 20 is covered with the waterproof steel plate 21, the other end covers a lip 27 of the frame 20, and a gap between the one end of the waterproof steel plate 21 and the vertical piece 73 of the verge flashing 71 is covered with a horizontal piece 77 of the verge flashing 71 from the above.
