FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: tetrafluoroethylene, perfluorovinyl ether, vinylidene fluoride, perfluorovinyl ether is preferably selected from group consisting of perfluoromethylvinyl ether and perfluoropropylvinyl ether. Fluoroelastomers are prepared by copolymerization of said monomers in aqueous emulsion in the presence of microemulsion of perfluoropolyoxyethylenes or perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes. Fluoroelastomers include iodine and/or bromine atoms in chain at end positions. Fluoroelastomers are used for manufacturing sealing rings. Novel fluoroelastomers have high resistance to polar solvents and bases, exceptional shrinkage parameters at high temperatures, low vitrification temperature and good processability.
