PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for vacuum heating of LNG, capable of feeding the vaporized LNG to a gas turbine in an LNG thermal power plant in a combined cycle form, reducing the installation space or the load on equipment maintenance with simple constitution of equipment and apparatus and carrying out the control good in quick responsiveness even when the feed rate of LNG to the gas turbine is suddenly changed within a wide range by frequently starting and stopping a generator basic system in response to the power demand. SOLUTION: This apparatus for vacuum heating of LNG comprises a heat exchanger 1 and a pressure reducing valve 2 and the heat exchanger 1 is composed so as to enable the variable control over the surface level of a condensate 3 of introduced steam according to a pressure in the heat exchanger 1. The apparatus is further equipped with an LNG temperature feedback system for regulating the flow rate F2 of the steam introduced into the heat exchanger 1 and a feedback system for the pressure in the heat exchanger 1. Even when the feed rate F1 of the LNG is suddenly reduced within a wide range, the feed temperature and feed pressure to a gas turbine can be kept constant and there is no fear of entry of outside air therein without changing the pressure in the heat exchanger 1 into a negative pressure. |
