PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce moire caused by the mutual interference of a picture element and a lenticular lens array and to prevent the deterioration of resolving power by providing a light diffusion layer on an observer side surface layer. SOLUTION: The diffusion layer 42 is formed on the surface of a Fresnel lens sheet 4 on the observer side, that is, the surface layer part of a Fresnel lens surface 41 in contact with the surface of a lenticular lens sheet on a projection side. The thickness of the layer 42 is set to 0.1 mm while setting the thickness of the sheet 4 to 2 mm. As for the diffusion effect by the layer 42, the inclination of the layer 42 is set to±2 deg.-±4 deg. to incident parallel light rays so that the luminance distribution of exit light rays is the half of peak luminance. By such constitution, moire disturbance is effectively reduced by the diffusion action of the layer 42, and diffused extremely neat the surface of the lenticular lens sheet on the projection side being an original image- formation surface, so that the resolving power is hardly deteriorated.
