PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the layout in the circumference of a key operating region of an automatic transmission shift locking device. SOLUTION: A starter key, a key cylinder acting by the rotationally moving operation of the starter key, and a cam member 25 making rotational movement by the rotationally moving operation of the key through the key cylinder are contained in a case member 11 so that the rotationally moving axial center of the said parts may be coaxial. With the cam member 25 as an end cam including a cam surface orthogonal to the rotationally moving axial center, a regulating member 21 moving between the position regulating the movement of a block 19 connected to an inner cable 7b and the position releasing the moving regulation by a cam surface profile is also contained in the case member 11 so that the moving direction may be in parallel to the rotationally moving axial center. The external form of the case member 11 can be made small and the circumferential space can be widely used because it is unnecessary to expand the case member in its circumferential direction in order to secure the moving route of the regulating member 21.
