PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the building management device to quickly correspond to the failure of an equipment installed independently of the experience of a custodian of the building by extracting one or plural failure factors corresponding to the sort of a failed equipment specified by a received failure signal and displaying failure factors successively from the largest frequency. SOLUTION: A data base 5g stores one or plural failure factors, failure frequency generated by these failure factors and the couterplans of the failure factors as data in each sort of an equipment 4a installed. At the time of receiving a failure signal S4 from a receiving means 5a, a failure factor display means 5d extracts the sort of the failed equipment 4a. The means 5d judges the sort and reads out its corresponding failure factors and their failure frequency. Then the means 5d displays these failure factors and frequency on a display device 6 by a table format successively from the largest frequency.
