PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To summarize a document by a system according to the needs of a user by selecting a summarizing system to execute according to the style of a summarizing objective document and the collecting purpose of the document. SOLUTION: A corresponding relation analyzing part 7 starts the document style of the summarizing objective document inputted from a document input part 2 to retrieve a summarizing system corresponding to the sorted document style at a corresponding relation storing part 6, which stores a corresponding relation an operator previously set-inputs at a corresponding relation input part 5. A document summarizing part 11 reads the summarized content of the retrieved summarizing system from a summarizing system storing part 9 and summarizes the summarizing objective document by the read summarized contents. A summary generating part 14 generates a summary based on an output condition stored in an output condition storing part 13 and the generated summary is outputted from a summary output part 15. The part 13 stores an output condition the operator previously set-inputs at an output condition input part 12. |
