Vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) semiconductor arrangement consists of, sequentially, first mirror, contact, active, contact and second mirror layers on a semiconductor substrate. Parts of the contact layers are accessible. At least one pair of right angle contact layers connect beside and above the sides of the active layer. |
