PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition of remarkably improved antistatic properties by adding a plasticizer comprising a polyester of an aliphatic dibasic acid with a glycol and a quat. ammonium salt of perchloric acid to a chlorinated resin. CONSTITUTION:10-100 pts.wt. polyester plasticizer synthesized from a 4-12C aliphatic dibasic acid and a 10C linear alcohol which may be branched and 0.01-5 pts.wt. quat. ammonium salt of perchloric acid of the formula [wherein R1 is a 4-22C alkyl; R2, R3 and R4 are each a 1-18C alkyl or (B-O)nH; and B is a 2-4C alkylene] (e.g. dimethyloctylhydroxyethylammonium perchlorate) are added to 100 pts.wt. chlorinated resin (e.g. PVC) to obtain the title composition. The obtained resin composition has satisfactorily improved antistatic properties and only slightly decreased heat resistance. |
