PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flay electrodeposition coating composition which can be easily produced, can be stably applied even after a long term and can form a coating film having good appearance even after a long term. SOLUTION: This invention provides a flay electrodeposition coating composition comprising an acrylic polymer (A) comprising 5-30wt.% actoacretly- containing acrylic polymer and 70-95wt.% phosphoric-group-containing acrylic polymer, 1-10wt.%, based on the total resin solid of components A and C, aluminum complex compound (B) represented by the formula: Al(OR)m (L)3-m (wherein R is 1 C or higher alkyl; L is a keto-enol tautomeric compound; and m is in an integer in the range: 0<=m<=3) and an amino resin (C) and a process for producing a flat electrodeposition coating composition which comprises previously mixing an acetoacetyl-containing a acrylic polymer with an aluminum complex compound and an amino resin, mixing the mixture with a phosphoric-group- containing acrylic polymer and dispersing the resulting mixture in water. |
