PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance preservation stability and water resistance of a recorded image by using phenolic compound represented by a specific formula as developer. SOLUTION: A solution containing 20 pts.of 3-N,N-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7- anilinofluoran, 20 pts.of 10%-polyvinyl alcohol water solution and 60 pts.of water, B solution containing 20 pts.of phenolic compound represented by a formula (where R indicates aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have substituent, and r indicates integer of 1 to 3), 20 pts.of 10%-polyvinyl alcohol water solution and 60 pts.of water, and C solution containing 20 pts.of silicon oxide and 80 pts.of water are prepared. 10 pts.of the A solution, 30 pts.of the B solution, 10 pts.of C solution and 10 pts.of zinc stearate dispersion liquid (30% of concentration) are mixed to form thermal color developing layer forming liquid. Woodfree paper is coated with 0.5g/m<2> of dye adhering amount after drying to form a thermal color developing layer. Thus, the layer surface is rolled by a calender so that surface smoothness becomes 500 to 600sec to obtain the thermal recording material. |
