PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate getting in and out of bathtub for the aged or the physically handicapped by providing a notched part, which is notched from the upper surface of side wall toward the side of floor surface, on the side wall of get-in/ get-out part and arranging a closing member to be freely opened/closed for closing the notched part in liquid-tight state. SOLUTION: An apron stage is provided on the side of one end in the lengthwise direction of bathtub having a section extending from a floor surface 2 to the upside, an almost rectangular notched part 4 is provided on the side wall of get-in/get-out part on the bathtub 1 while extending from the upper surface of side wall toward the floor surface 2, and the bottom part of notched part 4 is positioned higher than the floor surface 2. Then, a box-shaped gate part 5 for opening/closing the notched part 4 is provided at the notched part 4 so as to be vertically slid in the liquid-tight state. Further, a box-shaped cylinder part 6 for inserting the gate part 5 is provided on the side wall lower than the notched part 4 so that the lower end of cylinder part 6 can reach the bottom part of bathtub 1. Besides, an opening part to be opened/closed by an opening/closing door 11 is formed on the wall pat of the head part 8 of gate part 5 inside the bathtub. |
