PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a herbicidal composition, particularly suitable for controlling weeds in cotton fields. SOLUTION: A herbicidal composition that contains, as active ingredients, 2-chloro-4-fluoro-5-(4-methyl-5-trifluoromethyl-3-pyridazinon-2-yl)-ph enyl C1 -C5 acyclic hydrocarbyl ether and 2-chloro-N-(2-ethyl-6-methylphenyl)-N-(2-methoxy-1- methylethyl)acetamide is applied to soil thereby effectively controlling a variety of weeds growing in the crop lands and non-crop lands. Moreover, their controlling power is synergistically increased in comparison with their single-use cases and their dose can be saved. In addition, their combination can extend herbicidal spectrum, and particularly a wide variety of weeds can be selectively killed in cotton fields. |
