<p>A protective layer, esp. for vandal-proof layers for vehicle seats, vehicle roofs, covers for convertibles, vehicle hoods, tents, inflated sheds, wall panels, shatterproof walls and bulletproof vests, comprises: (a) knitted fabric made of cut-resistant fibres such as aromatic polyamide, gel-spun polyester or glass fibre; (b) wire in at least one of the thread systems of the fabric (a); and (c) a layer of textile fleece on at least one side of the layer.</p> |
