The anti-theft tag (1) can be sensed by a specific detection device, e.g. based on magnetic or electromagnetic fields, and is enclosed in at least one location (3) forming an integral part of the card display unit. The walls of the display unit are constituted by films and/or foils which are semi-rigid and are fixed amongst themselves on all or part of the surround (6) of the location once or several times. The location (3) comprises walls (4,5) constituted by the same semi-rigid foils and/or films (7,8) which form the container (9). The location (3) is situated in the front wall (10) of which it forms an integral part.
