Protective helmet for use by motorcyclists

The protective helmet is esp. for use by motorcyclists. It has a transparent visor (4) made of plastics film which covers the opening (3) in the helmet which enables the motorcycle rider to see out. The transparent visor is made in a continuous loop or band which goes right the way round the helmet. The visor may be moved round the helmet by a drive mechanism (6,7) and may be locked in place (8). There is a cleaning device (5) at the back of the helmet to wipe the dirt off the visor as it travels round the back of the helmet.
