Audio system with wireless signal transmission

The audio system is composed of an audio source (11) which works together with a transmitting arrangement (20), and at least one audio arrangement (12) which works together with a reception arrangement (18). The audio arrangement is formed as an active-box and comprises an amplifier (13) for the amplification of the signals (5) transmitted by the audio source. The signal transmission from the transmitting arrangement to the reception arrangement results by device of digitally coded electromagnetic radiation, and the audio arrangement is mechanically connected to a fixture (15) at the installation place, and electrically connected at a power supply arrangement (16).
