PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fault caused by the falling off of toner heaped on a temperature sensor. SOLUTION: An electromagnet 64 is arranged on a side opposite to a thermistor element 58 for measuring the surface temp. of a fixing roller 46. The toner 69 stuck to the fixing roller 46 is heaped on the surface of a 'Teflon(R)' tape 60 covering the thermistor element 58 and when the toner 69 is heaped in some degree, the heaped toner 69 may fall off of the 'Teflon(R)' tape 60 by vibration, etc., but the toner 69 after falling off is attracted to the electromagnet 64, so that a recording paper is not stained because the toner 69 after falling off never drops on the recording paper passing through below. |
