Dynamically loadable weld joint between pipe and U=shaped bracket profile

The weld joint connects a tube to an inclinedly mounted profiled bracket (3,4) having an open U-shape. The bracket is profiled or cut along its longitudinal axis to a open ellipse or parabola to fit the pipe curvature. The weld seam is taken along the parabola and its extended length spreads the stress. The edge of the parabola shape of the bracket is angled to provide an improved mating surface between the two components and to help produce an improved weld seam. The ratio between the depth of the parabolic profile or the long radius of the ellipsoid profile and the maximal width of the profile opening is between 1 and 3. The border line of the profile opening is so long in relation to the pipe diameter that the ends of the weld seam (5) extend to non-stressed areas of the weld joint.
