PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat transfer efficiency through an increase in the flow speed of a high pressure gas serving s a heating medium, to suppress a heat transfer area to a minimum limit, and to make a pressure vessel unnecessary and realize a device of a remarkably reduced size. SOLUTION: A steam generating device is constituted such that a steam drum 42 to which a steam output nozzle 41 is connected and a water drum 44 to which a supply water nozzle 43 is connected are disposed with a vertical distance therebetween. A high pressure gas inlet header 46 to which a high pressure gas feed nozzle 45 for coal gasified gas 8 serving as a heating medium is connected is arranged in the water drum 44. A high pressure gas outlet header 49 to which a high pressure gas discharge nozzle 48 is connected is arranged in a steam drum 42, and the water drum 44 and the steam drum 42 are connected together through a steam pipe 51 and a precipitation pipe 52. Further, the high pressure gas inlet header 46 and the high pressure gas outlet header 49 are inserted in the stem pipe 51 and connected thereto through a high pressure gas pipe 53. |
