<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of the appearance of a golf club shaft without any troubles, and to effectively reduce the manufacturing cost by performing the straight printing to the seam of sheets exposed on the outer circumferential surface of a shaft body, and shielding the seam by this printing. SOLUTION: The straight printing 7 as indicated in the figure is performed on a seam 13 of sheets to be exposed to an outer circumferential surface of a shaft body 6, and the seam 13 is shielded by the printing 7. The well-known surface printing method such as the silk printing and the pad printing is appropriately adopted for this printing. In the illustration, no printing is performed on a part of a rear end part 5 of a shaft on which a grip is mounted, but this part need not be printed because it is shielded by the grip. The seam 13 can be shielded by the printing 7, and degradation of the appearance of the completed golf club shaft 2 can be prevented. In addition, the printing 7 is less costly than the recoating of the whole outer circumferential surface of a shaft body 6.</p> |
