<p>A sealing ring (10) has first and second housings (32, 34) on opposed ends of an annular band (11). A fastener extends between threaded apertures in an end wall of each housing to fixedly engage the ends of the sealing ring (10). One or more slots (120, 122, 124, 136) in the ends of the fastener (100) are alignable with apertures (54, 56, 85, 86) in one of the side walls (36, 38) of each housing (32, 34) for receiving a security device (125). Screwdriver receiving slots (107, 119) are formed in each end of the fastener (100). An enlarged head end (106) on the fastener (100) enables finger rotation of the fastener. The end walls (74) have an elongated upper finger grip surface (62, 82). Bendable mounting tabs (50) extend from each housing (32, 34) into slots (52) in the annular band (11) to fixedly mount the housings to the annular band.</p> |
