<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a rear housing with a simple structure by fastening a rear housing formed in such a constitution that a valve plate is held and a rear end of a cylinder block is sealed, to the cylinder block through a supporting plate for covering a nearly all regions of its back wall outer surface. SOLUTION: In a half side swash plate type compressor, a front housing 2 is fastened to a front end side of a cylinder block 1 by a bolt 21, and a rear housing 3 formed in such a constitution that a valve plate 4 is held, together with a supporting plate 50 by a bolt 22. In the rear housing 3, its outside is formed by a circumferential wall 3a and a back wall 3b, and its inside is sectioned into a suction chamber 30 and a delivery chamber 31. The supporting plate 50 is formed by providing with a surface area for covering a nearly all region of the back wall 3b of the rear housing 3, and a minimum plate thickness which is sufficient for suppressing deformation of the rear housing 3 against maximum delivery pressure. It is thus possible to surely prevent deformation of the back wall 3b and a bulk head 3c by reinforcing force of the supporting plate 50.</p> |
