PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element, which emits continuously extending over a wide range without generating a problem, which accompanies a wire bonding, and moverover, is highly reliable. SOLUTION: This light-emitting element consists of first light-emitting element chips 11 which are respectively formed into a structure, wherein with a semiconductor layer laminated on the side of the surface of a substrate, a (p) side electrode 8 and an (h) side electrode 9 are provided on the side of the surface, and second light-emitting element chips 12 which are respectively formed into a structure, wherein with a semiconductor layer laminated on the side of the surface of a substrate transparent substantially to light of a luminous wavelength, an (n) side electrode and a (p) side electrode are provided on the side of the surface and the side provided with these electrodes is arranged facing reversely to each side provided with the electrodes 8 and 9 of the first light- emitting element chips, and the fellow electrodes different from each other on the sides of the (n) side electrodes or the (p) side electrodes of the first and second light-emitting element chips are directly bonded together with a conductive material. |
