A crotch pad structure ensures easier motion and longer life. More concretely, to secure the motion of the crotch portion of the girdle, the pad structure has higher extensibility at the front portion of the pad (15) than at the rear portion. When the entire pad is made of a uniform material, for example, the size of the front portion of the pad in the transverse direction is greater than the size of the rear portion in the transverse direction. A joint structure between the waist portion and the legs portion of a girdle increases the freedom of motion of the thighs and does not mar the feeling of wearing when the thighs move. More concretely, the joint portion provided to the boundary between the waist portion and the thigh portions of the girdle has a higher flexibility at the intermediate portions of the front and rear portions in the longitudinal direction than at the front and rear portions in the longitudinal direction.
