PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording body having a rigid surface which can record images without exudation with superior color generation performance and at high speed. SOLUTION: The recording body has an ink-receiving layer including a synthetic amorphous silica and a binder set on a supporting body. When a surface of the ink-receiving layer is measured according to the X-ray opto-electronic spectrography, a peak area ratio of silicon electrons 2P to carbon electrons 1S (C1 S/Si2 P) is 6.0-35.0. The supporting body is a resin film or synthetic paper. |
