<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fallboard of a piano which can omit the coating of a lid back part and then reduce the manufacture cost and to provide the method which can efficiently manufacture the fallboard. SOLUTION: The fallboard is equipped with a lid main body 2 which is formed of a woody plate and has its surface coated and the lid back which is fitted onto the top surface of the lid main body 2 and has a curved surface part on the top surface side, and the curved surface part of the lid back 3 is formed of an acryl resin plate 4. The manufacture of the fallboard includes a process for manufacturing the lid main body 2, a process for pressing a laminate plate including the acryl resin plate 4 and a woody base plate 6 so that the acryl resin plate 4 has a specific curved surface shape conforming with the curved surface part, a process for manufacturing lid back 3 by cutting the lower part of the formed laminate plate linearly and obliquely, and a process for manufacturing the fall board 1 by adhering the cut surface of the laminate plate to the lid main body 2.</p> |
