PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form color filters with few signal inputs without using a driver for driving a liquid crystal display device intrinsically by arranging a driver for color filter formation at one side of gate bus lines and source bus lines. SOLUTION: A driver for color filter formation 40 is connected to a side opposite to the source driver 33 of a TFT array part 34. Moreover, in the TFT array part 34, plural parallel gate bus lines 116 extending from a gate line drive 32 are arrangingly provided and plural source bus lines 120 are arrangingly provided from a source driver 33 by being made to orthogonally cross the gate bus lines 116. The driver for color filter formation 40 is provided with one series of shift registers 41, signal input terminals 43 (for R), 44 (for G), 45 (for B) for forming three series of color filters of R, G, B and sampling switches 42 of signals for color filter formation. |
