FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear wheel has hub, disk, rim consisting of on or two parts, and teeth which can be detached from the rim. The rim has a shaped groove over its periphery. Teeth made of a flexible sheet material are secured inside of it at a given distance from each other. The tooths have rounded or sharpened face and flank made up as shaped groove of the rim. Teeth and spacers are introduced to the rim composed of one part through the radial groove, covered with a locking members. A chain, which consists of the belt provided with teeth and spacers is fixed inside the rim composed of two parts. EFFECT: decreased contact stress and lowered noise. 2 cl, 10 dwg
