PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital machine capable of acquiring a highly equally magnified copy desired by a user in the shortest time by preventing the harmful influence of the shrinkage of a paper sheet in a fixing part. SOLUTION: A scanner part 1 reads the image of an original and the read image is reproduced on the paper by a plotter part 5. A prefixing sensor 52 detects the length of the paper before the image is fixed in the fixing part 51 and an afterfixing sensor 53 detects the length of the paper after the image is fixed in the fixing part 51. A control part 4 controls the speed of the scanner motor 11 of the scanner part 1, based on the difference between the detected lengths of the paper before and after the fixation. Thus, the reading speed of the original in the scanner part 1 is controlled to make a copy with equal magnification of the original. |
