PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of making uniform as far as possible an air velocity distribution passing through a heat exchanger and obtain centrifugal fan suitable for the air conditioner. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral part 1a located on the side of a fan blowoff outlet 5 of a hub 1 is slantingly provided such that it is displaced toward a fan suction inlet 4 side as it goes radially outwardly. In the construction, blowoff air from the fan blowoff outlet 5 is guided to the outer peripheral part 1a of the hub 1, and is deflected so as to approach a suction inlet 4, the blowoff direction being more inclined to the suction inlet 4 side than a surface perpendicular to a shaft center of a centrifugal fan X1, and air velocity distribution of the blowoff outlet 5 is slightly displaced to the suction inlet 4 side. Accordingly, even when in an air conditioner including the centrifugal fan X1 the centrifugal fan X1 and a heat exchanger 10 disposed on the outer peripheral side of the former are constructed, displaced in an axial direction of the fan, blowoff air from the centrifugal fan X1 is directed to a center part 10a of the heat exchanger 10 to the utmost, and hence the velocity distribution of air passing through the heat exchanger 10 is made uniform over the entire region of the heat exchanger as far as possible. |
