PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an A/D conversion speed in the spread spectrum system reception processing, to reduce the power consumption and to improve the communication quality. SOLUTION: A peak detection circuit 102 detects a peak level of a correlation output outputted from a matched filter 101. A time window control circuit 103 sets a time window including all peak levels in excess of a predetermined threshold level among all the detected peak levels to each symbol period and outputs a sampling pulse to analog sample-and-hold circuits 1041, 1042,... sequentially for the time window, which sample and hold the correlation output, and after the end of the time window, a changeover device 103 is controlled to provide each sampling value to an A/D converter 106 sequentially, which converts the value into a digital signal. |
