PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive and long-life supply roller stabilizing the electrification quantity of developer and a developing device using it. SOLUTION: In the developing device 21, a fiber-flocked part 31 is formed around a core bar 30 as the supply roller 24 supplying the developer such as non-magnetic one-component type toner stored in a developer container 27 to a developing roller 23. Fibers are flocked at the fiber flocked part 31 so as to be extended in a diameter direction. Then, the developer is carried in a gap between the fibers. The fiber flocked part 31 can be more easily and inexpensively manufactured than a conventional electrical conductive sponge layer and the life thereof can be prolonged. Besides, the developer can be stably supplied to the roller 23 while stabilizing the electrification quantity thereof. A developer regulation member 25 being a blade abuts on the surface of the roller 23 so as to regulated the excessively attached developer. Thus, the developer can be stably transferred to an electrophotographic photoreceptor from the roller 23. |
