PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold cathode tube lighting device capable of aiming at reduction of assembling man-hour and cost down following it by eliminating any complicated assembling process. SOLUTION: A printed wiring board 2 is provided on the opposite side to a luminescent surface (light radiation part) 3 of a cold cathode 1, said printed wiring substrate 2 is electrically connected and also fixed to the electrode terminals 7, 8 of the cold cathode 1 by means of wiring pattern 2-4 formed thereon, and this wiring pattern 2-4 is faced to the external wall of the cold cathode 1 and formed in parallel to the discharge current route of the cold cathode 1 and the wiring pattern 2-4 is construct as a proximity conductor for lighting accessory electrically connected to either one of the electrodes 7, 8 of the cold cathode 1. Accordingly, the wiring pattern 2-4 of the printed wiring board 2 can be assigned to have such functions as electric current supply to the cold cathode 1 and a proximity conductor, and a complicated assembling process for the cold cathode lighting device is eliminated so as to aim at reduction of the assembly man-hours and cost down following the reduction. |
