<p>A time recording system for recording timings of successive sections of a process, especially the working hours put in by workers which have to be charged at different rates or to different accounts, has interlocked switches, preferably hand-operated, each controlling a meter. Signal generators provide clock signals which are switched by each switch so long as the switch is in the ON position. Another meter may operate while any of the switches is in the ON position, to give a totalised reading. The meters may be periodically scanned by a central processing unit which resets them to zero after recording their readings. Each worker may have a total meter.</p> |
