PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a desired format while confirming an output image that is shown as a sample based on the format. SOLUTION: A format information storage part 18 stores the format information, and a character contents storage part 14 stores the character data. When a format is set for characters. it's decided whether the character data are stored in the part 14. If the character data are stored in the part 14, the format information and an output image that is obtained when the character data are outputted based on the character information are shown at a display part 24. If the character data are not stored in the part 14, an output image that is obtained when a a prescribed format setting sample character string is outputted based on the format information is shown at the part 24 as a sample together with the format information. |
