| 摘要 |
The system utilises a cable termination plug with contacts which arranged in pairs. One of each pair provides a return path for symmetrical transmission. The outermost pairs (K1,K2;K7,K8) are connected to the cable, and the intermediate pairs <K3,K4;K5,K6) earthed. The system avoids near-end crosstalk at high bit rates, as well as saving the cost of laying of new cables for the high-bit-rate services. The earth connections are made preferably by jumpers.
