PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous display device which can make luminous intensity to a sole parameter, has broader color reproducibility and can obtain luminous intensity having no change in the lapse of time. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with light emitting sources of blue (B), green (G) and red (R). Spectra of respective light emitting sources have so narrow haif-value width (<=30nm) that they can be regarded as leading delta (δ) function and substantially do not overlap each other. Since light sources having spectra with finite peak value and very slender finite width are used, shape changes of spectra of respective light emitting sources are restrained in wavelength space and can be regarded as only intensity change. Consequently, correction can be made only by changing the intensities of respective light emitting sources, color reproducibility is improved and change of color in the lapse of time disappears as well. |
